• The Met Islamic Art in Solitude Lecture Series

The topic of the conversation is a current exhibition at Meşher in Istanbul, titled Istanbul As Far As the Eye Can See: Views from Five Centuries. The panoramic and wide-angled images, all drawn from the Ömer Koç Collection, reveal familiar and unfamiliar aspects of this fabled city. Lecture by by Nilüfer Konuk (Director, Meşher), Şeyda Çetin (Curator, Meşher), Ebru Esra Satıcı (Curator, Meşher), and Zeynep Çelik (Sakip Sabanci Visiting Professor, Columbia University).
